Sunday Funday

So i went to my first sunday service in california baby! lol so this is how i ended up at Cornerstone in Poway, CA.

There is a local church down the road near my house called Community Church of Poway (United Something Church of Christ)... everytime a church says they are the church of christ i just get scared man... cus i don't want to walk into a service and then like get all suprised u know. like what if they like chant and stuff or like kidnap me?!
They might like still practice sacrifices or something and oo look some random asian dude in the desert nobody will look for him... ya know? so i got scared and just went back home.

I freakn' woke up at 7 cus i didn't know where to go or when sercies start so i had to prepare u know? Good thing VA is 3 hr difference so that people are awake when i call. I called pnan and she didn't know if they were a cult or not either but she suggested me to look online and look for local churches and read their missions satements and what not. GOOD IDEA!

Went on google business (didn't know churches were businesses) and typed my address and did a church seawrch. BAM. google magic list of temples, a mosc, some shady places but a few local churches popped up too.

This one place was called the well. Man so weird iono but anyways i went to this place called Cornerstone which is like a 10 min walk? I went to the 830 service and i was like the only one there... (its not an asian thing is just a people thing i guess) thats what i get for being on time.

People slowly start to walk in and what not and their praise is like so different like the style but they sing the same songs its weird they like changed it a little the rythem and stuff.

I was like looking at the screen for awhile and then i looked around me and the first thing i noticed is that like 60% of the congreation males were all waering hawaiian shirts... the random.

So the praise leader finishes up the last song and everybody gets down and he stays up and then does a quick prayer and then like puts on his pastor cap and then starts to preach... lol so so so... iono never seen that but it was cool.

I think im going to go back next sunday. They play ball on tue nights at 530 so imma try and make it but iono how that'll work out cus i end work around then. We'll see. Its a small white church so its cool.

Interesting note they don't have a denomination. This one guy was like yea i used to go to a lutheren church but i mean i don't really know the difference. As long as its in the Bible we believe it. lol i guess.

Forgot to mention that i swear i meet the 2000 century pipi long stocking. She was a singer in the praise team and she had like freckles and her face and small body type looked exactly like her just with brown hair... So funny iono what i instantly thought that as soon as i saw her.
