Insurance Scam

So i got my vision and dental insurance activated today and so i went to the optometrist and to spend 0 dollars cus i just wanted to ask some questions and set up an appointment. 

End of the evening i end up spending over 200 bux.... how you ask? well i'll tell you even if you didn't ask

So i get into the office and start asking what my coverage covers and how much copay i have to do and blah blah all this new insurance lingo and im like ok sounds good exam and new contacts will cost be like 50 bux perfect. 

I get in there and after like 25 mins of doing my exam he gets the right perscription and boom my contacts are ready for me to try on. I put them on and then i try to read the screen and something is wrong....

Its like really blurry for some reason and i told him i can't read the line.... when i blink sometimes it gets better but then it gets bad again. 

"strange" and he ponders.

So he tells me to rest my chin on this thing and starts looking at my eye again and then is like ok i need to put this crap in  your eye  to make it easier to see so he puts yellow and green dye into my eye and made my eyes go numb so weird. 

He tells me hes going to take some pictures of my eye and inside of my eyelids to show me something.

So i have this condition and iono what its called cus its a confusing name. Its at the minor stages so its not harmful but it could get much worse if i don't treat it now. My eyelids have these bumps from irritation or allergy (most likely irritation) and it keeps pushing my contacts down so that it doesn't cover my pupil evenly hence the blurriness no matter how strong the prescription cus its just not covering my eyes properly.

So now im getting worried ok its good that my eyes are just in the beginning stages so how do i fix it the quickest and safest... and he said don't wear your contacts and use your glasses if you can and put ice on your eyes 3 times a day for a few weeks.

So this is when it gets bad I just paid an extra 40 bux to do extra stuff on my eyes to get examined for contacts then i learned i should get glasses and the ones i have now are so old and outdated that i can't use them for everyday use so i gota get new lenses and frames then the lenses have to have like coating and blah blah to proetect from computer screens uv rays glare anti scratch blah blah and i just see the numbers going up and up and up. 

So in the end i paid over 200 bux for new glasses and ONE box of contacts since i paid extra for the contact examination might as well get some new contacts as well.

Cons:

I now have to wear glasses and its going to get some getting used to.... boy are you guys in for a surprise when i get back

I spent over 200 bux when i was supposed to spend 50

I gota ice my eyes now throughout the day which is pretty annoying

Pros:

saved my eyes from getting further damaged and potentially having to go through complicated medical procedures

Im thankful that this doctor found out what was going on cus that would have sucked if i went blind or something or had to go to the hospital but the price i paid is now i gota pull off wearing glasses and look like a dork.

New Years

I guess everybody is telling me not to get a bike and it makes me want to get it just that much more. I think i am going to end up getting it next year jan or feb if i stay in SD. Thats my plan and i just don't see myself being convinced not to get one. My mom would have the most power over me not getting it and im thinking about just getting it and telling her like it or not its better you know i have it then me sneaking around with it.

My New years resolution is to stop using a car and save money and gas at the expensive of my life and get a bike lol.

Its SD... i have to get it if i want to be cool which is so important in CA.

Stupid DMV

I left work early to go to the DMV to register my car to CA and i waited in line even though i made an appointment....

Then when it was my turn the lady told me that i didn't need to do it as long as my "INTENT" isn't to be a perm resident of CA and as long as i could show proof if a situation rises then i would be fine.... so dumb i left work early for nothing i had to skip a meeting for that too. 

I hate the DMV.

So i thinking about WASTING 250 on a basic riders course on motorcycles. They provide training and all gear thats need like the bike and helmet etc and if you pass the course then it can substitute for your DMV drivers test. Plus its a good confidence booster and your not just getting into to be "cool" but with a serious intent to be safe and enjoy yourself as well. 

Should i.... i could easliy lease a bike for a few months and it would be so cheap.

Calvary

So i finally found a church that i think i will stick with and its called Calvary. Good bunch of people and really nice and friendly easy to get along with. Hopefully i'll be able to grow with them and contribute to the growth of my new found friends and their spiritual walk as well as mine being enriched and encouraged. 

I had an overpriced cupcake today and iono whats so good about it but its all the craze in LA and its just a massive butter and sugar loaded cupcake... i swear no joke the frosting was at least 1.5 in thick on top of the cake and the oil from the cake was coming through the paper wrapping. Its like 5 bux for one little thing and there is always a line at the store. 

I would rather get some tart yogurt. CA changes you man lol cus i remember having it for the first time at Shilla in centreville when Joan got it and i thought i was going to throw up and now its really good(only the flavored ones not the original). 

wtf... i didn't know i had a fire extinguisher in my room its behind the door in the corner... never realized it til now.

Now I See

So i learned that more then a handful of people are subscribed to my blog so they get fed by the RSS Feed instead of coming in directly to the site. Which leads me to conclude that unless a post is exceptionally funny or interesting people will not leave a comment. Which means posts with comments must be really good from this point on. 

I need to start making up stories. 

Its really surprising though that im still keeping up with this thing and people are actually subscribing to it and reading it. 

Five months and going strong and i couldn't have done it without you.

Grandfather stories

Im such a prankster... lol iono why but i just get some urges sometimes and i just want to like make up something or tell a story and at the end after soaking up all the reactions .... jk.

I am going to be a great grandfather i'll have so many stories.

SAN DIEGO ZOO

So this past saturday i went to....

SAN DIEGO ZOO!!!!

Apparently its supposed to be one of the best zoo's in the country and i mean i haven't been to too many zoo's but this one was fun. The animals are in your face distance from you. If you reached out far enough you could actually touch the animals if they were hanging out right near the fence. 

Saw a lot of animals and im pretty sure nobody wants to see the boring pictures i mean i just took them to take it but i also took video shots cus those are prob more interesting. 

Obviously there are A LOT more animals and pictures of them but i left them out and put only a few of the good shots i got or the ones that were interesting. 

Man im so full... my stomach hurts... i only asked for 3 sliders and they gave me 4... i had to eat it... what else was i supposed to do?

The gorilla one was my fav and then the hippo. It was actually really exciting cus i was standing there awhile and they are doing nothing but then i stayed strong and they started to get all active for some reason. 

This hyena is so adorable but what happens when they get older... get so ugly...

Dude if i started recording this one like 5 secs ealier omg! What happened before is this guy here in the preview was drinking the pee from the female one. He is just loving it.... So weird man stupid animals.
