Update

Ok so i learned that this training program is more like an IT Bootcamp. What they do is cram about 4 years of IT experience into you in 6 weeks. Then you work for them for one year and if you stay with them then your salary will increase by like 70%. So life is like summer school x2 cus im in a classroom for about 8 to 9 hours a day just learning all this crap and then we get assignments to do at home and we don't get weekends cus they give projects for the weekend.

Hasn't been so bad cus my housemates are really cool so its not like just me out there alone doing my own thing and trying to get through this. We try to make it fun.

Cali isn't really that much different other then the weather. I honestly would rather be at home with my friends and be working for now... I guess i might feel different when i have the freedom of an afternoon day and the enjoyment of a weekend with a car and my own pad.

This isn't anything like i expected but i feel like its a really good program so im gonna stick through it and do my best to do a good job. This is definately a career building step.

Local church down the road. Gonna hit that place on sunday and see what happens. Probably a congregation of all old white folks with the average age being x2 my age. All i see here is old people or really little kids. I don't really see people my age probably again cus Poway is a suburb in the desert. So random.

First day

So not much to say about first day. Sucked so borig we learned all this crap about systems design which i took a whole semester of and so everything was the same. Half of the people in the classroom didn't know it so it was more to get people on the same level so it was so boring...

We won't be doing anything cool or hardcore until monday but after that i think my life as i know it will be over for the next 6 weeks. This training program is a lot more intense then i thought. O gosh...

Don't really know what to expect but im starting to get scared a little by little. Dang why are my toes so cold.... The ac is like blowing only on my toes for some reason. My feet are creating some sort of ac wind current attarcting all the air towards my toes.

LOL matt my housemate is this old chinese guy and he brought a rice cooker. Iono what hes eating but hes slurping so i looked over and hes like using the rice pot of the rice cooker as a bowl and hes like slurping stuff out of it. I think he made some sort of soup with the rice cooker instead of using the stove. Hes so weird...

NACHO LIBRE!!!

so my roommate ralphie is from LA and he has a hispanic background so hes really good at spanish. There are a lot of spanish people where i live and today after work there was one of those sweet little ice cream carts that this spanish man was pushing. I was like omg so freak'n sweet its like so old school and i wanted to buy something and ralphie was like going off at him in spanish but little did i know he wasn't asking him how much the ice cream cost.

After a little bit this other ladie happen to walk by and she over heard the covo and then she started going off. Ralphie all of a sudden got super excited and i was just standing there like a deaf retard not having any idea what was going on. They just all ignored my complete existance but anyways...

Ralphie gets all excited goes utstairs and puts his stuff away and comes back down. I ask him whats going on and omg i couldn't believe it.

He asked the man if he sold corn but not just any type of corn... straught up mexico style corn on a stick!! like the one in nacho libre.

Yo the lady that walked by just happened to sell them from her home. We were taken to this exclusive place (her house two blocks down) and got corn on a stick with mayo parmasean cheese and chilli pepper. It looked so gross but it was so good...... omg so good.

Just how i imagined it from watching the movie. today was an awesome day.

Roomies

This is Hugo. Hes originally from Indonesia but he went to college at Wisconsin. Hes 21 and he is the youngest out of the group. He's my new dota partner.


LOL. I crack up everytime i see this pic looks so gay. This is Matt and hes like an ancient chinese relic. He speaks crucial broken english and always east his sweet cabbage soup for lunch and cereal for breakfast. Hes nice though.


This guy... this guy... He is a 34 year old dude name Brady. He has a g/f he found online and keeps in touch with. He told me he owns a gameboy color and he just bought a laptop but it sucks cus he didn't have enough money to afford one that can play Hellsgate... He loves to start a conversation carry it and end it all by himself.... hes cool.

I got two other roomies that i don't ahve pics of but they are Ralph and Winfred. Windfred is 28 and iono how old Ralph is. Ralph my like sleeping roomate in my room. Hes cool too. He always eats at home and makes food and stuff. He made this crzy peanutbutter snadwich with fresh strawberries on it... omg he made it look so good.

We all get along so far so i hope it all goes well. It'll be fun i hope.

Poway

Finally arrived at my new home for the next 6 weeks. Kind of a little jet lagged or maybe its my warm room. Took some pictures of my roommtes so far and the house but i will be uploading those later when i get more time.

Went to the beach with Tim and just chilled and ate some shushi. Just chill'n at the beach which is like 15 mins away. East coast a beach is a trip but here the beach is just another chill spot. Feels totally different cus beaches on the east feel like a tourist spot but here its a lot of locals and not very flashy and stuff.

We went and looked at scooters and the one i want is only 2grand and it gets 80 miles a gallon.... so good. If i stay in san diego i will definately get one. It's going to be cool.

I didn't go to church today but there is a local church right up the road so maybe i'll walk into that service next sunday. Just getting settled in so i'll see what happens throughout the week.
