10 Gallons of Milk

So every morning so fart i've lol... i decided to leave that typo in there cus its kind of funny anyways.. lol

ok so i eat cereal every morning for breakfast and i've found the ultimate cereal cus i just can't get sick of this thing. Its healthy, delicious, not too sweet not too bland.

Honey Bunches of Oats Chocolate flavor. I think i really like chocolate except i don't eat it a lot cus its bad for you teeth and it always gets stuck between them. Its so good AND after ur milk turns into CHOCOLATE omg so cool. I wish it came with a toy or a little maze on the back of the box.

Holi Moly Raviloi

Kind of cute i'd say their logo is like this little raviloi man and he looks so plump full of stuffing.

California does have some pretty interesting places to eat even out here in the desert. This place wasn't too bad kind of pricy but not too bad a good change of flavor.

They got this other place called spicy pickle and that place is good too. Like panini's and they give you this spicy pickle which isn't as good as the fried pickle but still not too bad i'd say.

Eye on the Prize

So this is what i used to use to drink my coffee or water everyday.

But after proving myself as a loyal employee they let me into the inner circle. The coolest of cool things you can receive from work.

TA DAH!

lol now i can wash the the cup and use it as many times as i want so ANNOYING cus i could just use the plastic ones and throw them away. i guess we're all about being green.

Trend

So i am looking at the trend of hits i was getting on this blog throughout the months that i've had it and i am seeing a pattern. When i first made it obviously its gonna be a low hit rating but i gave it some time and the hit counts kept going up and peaked. It was a good count for awhile but then retreats, moving and just started to roll around near august and the hits started to go down. I guess people just have nothing to do during the summer and so they have time to visit and then things get busy again and so they stop going on facebook and stuff.

Facebook

I find myself checking facebook like at LEAST 20 times a day if not more. When i was at school or even at nova i checked facebook ONLY when i got an email... lol this is sad...

I've changed my wallpaper about 14 to 16 times this past month going from girls to games to cars

I found this tech website called wired and i read random articles

I check the olympics gold medal count like 6 times a day for no reason

I notice if i get a new email within at least 5 minutes of receiving it.

I just look at stupid stuff online and don't really do anything... especailly cus im not even playing a lot of games either.

I can't take a nap during work and by the time i come home im too tired to work out.

I sit in a chair most of the day but iono why my feet hurt when i relax.

I wish i had a mac book pro so when i type in the dark i can see my keyboard but i've gotten pretty good at even memorizing where the f buttons are cus i use them a lot when i program.

Like right now i just put up the volume on my mac w/o even looking and i got it the first time.

Only tues...BUT i did think it was mon so thats good.

Yest i had a really serious talk with my friend and it was good to have a conversation like that in awhile i didn't even know the words that were coming out of my fingers onto the screen but they just came out. Its all in His hands now.

Free Stuff always gets me

So today after work my roommate and I made a bet on a single round of rock paper scissor(which was a terrible idea cus i always lose) and surprise surprise i lost. So i bought him Jamba juice and on our way we saw a sign at the theatre for free movie tickets! so we checked it out and i happens that the red cross was on the street taking blood donations on their sweet bus and u get a free movie ticket if u donate. Man so freak'n awesome just 30 mins of my time and i get a free ticket! Umm what are the goods sides of this?

1. You body will regenerate an infinate amount of blood so its like trading oxygen for money
2. only takes like 20 mins of ur time
3. free snacks and drinks (took a paper bag full of goodies home with me after eating there already)
4. FREE movie ticket
5. 15% off at the sushi place that i eat at every friday (which has 50% off sushi on their special menu)
6. a 5 dollar off coupon at pick up stix
7. meet some new people and got some good conversations just chill'n there

i mean i can just go on and on making up a bunch of crap but in realitiy i did it for the free movie ticket.

It was a good experience and plus it wasn't my first time so it wasn't too bad except i didn't realize how much it burned to have iodine go into your bloodstream.

Plus i got this cool bandage on my arm that makes me look so hardcore. I would def get ALL the chicks if i kept this thing on but its kind of annoying now got about like 2 more hrs left and im  allowed to take it off.

Today was an interesting and random day but all in all it was  one of the better ones. LAST week of lectures and then its off to prepare for interviews! better get ready so i can leave right away. Hope my interview skills are sick from all the practice i got from the worthless interviews at jmu.

ps: i miss you hon : )

Blizzard....?

so i was just looking at video game stuff at work cus i was bored and then i saw job postings on the blizzard homepage. For those of you who don't know what blizzard is they are the company that made wow, starcraft, warcraft and etc. So im looking at the various jobs they are looking for and i see a header for BI... Business Intelligence. So that caught my eye and i was like hmmm lets check it out.

Data Analyst

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a data analyst to join our business intelligence team. The ideal candidate will have solid analytical skills, good knowledge of data warehousing and reporting, and programming skills for ETL maintenance and enhancement of stored procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the technical team and business users to create reports and perform analysis on game- and business-related data.
  • Design data warehouse star schemas on which to perform reporting and analysis.
  • Facilitate the migration of additional data feeds as required by the business to enhance the value of the data warehouse and reporting activities.
  • Optimize stored procedures and assist in performance tuning of reports and applications.
Pluses:
  • Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services, MySQL
  • Experience with the Epiphany CRM application suite.
  • Software development experience (.NET experience is desirable)
  • Experience with business intelligence / management reporting technologies

pretty much everything in bold was like sweet words to my eyes. All this work actually could pay off. Words that meant nothing to me only a month ago now are terms that i feel like i've used my entire life. Things that seemed like were useless are actually popping up in the real world. I am not only qualified but over qualified for that position at blizzard and its just cool that i actually understand exactly what they want and need. I can see what they are in need of cus thats what i have been doing for the pass month of grueling labor.

It feels nice to know that what im doing actually matters out there even though it doesn't feel like it.
