PB&J

peanut butter and jelly....?

sike Paciffic Beach and Jam's.

So we fainlly get a somewhat relaxing weekend for the first time so on friday night we decided to all go out to the beach front area where there is supposed to be a lot of people and clubs and bars and food.

We ended up going to a smaller restaurant/bar. They close at 12.. which i tghought was interesting but i mean it was an experience. Couple of my roomies got some drink but me and this older guy didn't for our personal reasons but nobody is gonna put a gun to your head. I didn't mind getting a drink but i didn't want to put a first impression of myself as somebody who jsut drinks. If i say no now it'll be easier to say no later cus i can say yes anytime w/o a problem. anyways

so we just sat at atable and just talked and chilled but gosh so freka'n loud... for those fo you who know me i hate super noisy places and that place was LOUD.

So funny observing the enviroment cus there was about 99% white people .9% everything else and .1% korean (me).

They say there are a lot of good looking people in san diego but either my eyes are aiming too high or im in the wrong place except... one of the waitresses in the pub was really really really really pretty. She needs to be discovered or something. I was seruiosly like breath taken by this woman. I always like girls like her on the big screen but its totally differnt seeing one in person.

i didn't even get her name.

SATURDAY MORNING MY FAVORITE MORNING

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG.... YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its finally saturday morning. o how i love saturday mornings... waking up at 10 and still in my bed at 11 just relaxing. Cool breeze from my window, laptop on my lap just checking my email and what not, sweet chritmas music playing from my roommate "Captin Hugo" itune.

The christmas music is random but its so soothing. I want christmas to come now... actually but now that i think about it i'll have a lonely christmas this year... and thanksgiving... the life of a nomad w/o a wife.

my roommate always makes his bed in the morning when he has time and im watching him right now. he's just like that.

my heart feels so good right now. The weather here will always be waiting for my heart here. Cringing my toes while the breeze goes through it.

this is heaven for now. Only if i had a sweet touch of a woman to bring me breakfast in bed lol.

Nerd Fun

So at work a couple of us have gotten really close especially my housemates and I. we get really bored at work doing sql server stuff blah blah. So we decided to make our own chat thingy using database.

Basically you create a global table that everybody can access and update. So you insert a new record with the current date, name, and the message and it goes into the database.

Anybody can insert a row and anybody can do a read. Just do a read off of the table and you can see what everybody wrote.

Anyways yea we are bored and we have nothing to do.

KOREAN FOOD!

So i went to this small korean church today. Reminded me a lot of RK back in the day but me coming in as an older person. Like "The night before chirstmas" kind of thing.

They are really small so they have like adult service praise with the youth kids and then for the sermon they leave to a smaller room with a teacher who just does a simple small bible study. There was only5 students including myself and i was the oldest one there. The teacher has been at that church for 10 years so hes cool.

They had a lot more kids but half of them graduated and went on to college and stuff and didn't really come back i guess.

So on the website the church had this one address and so i got up about 40 mins early to get ready and walk there cus it was like about a mile away. Freak'n the closer and closer i get to the place the futher and futher it is away from civilization. I ended up in some mobile home trailer housing kind of area and i was like ummm wtf did i get myself into... then in the corner of my eye i noticed a....

you'll never guess

a sweet mini van lol with korean stickers on it. Mok sa church van baby. Thats like an international thing man. So i was wondering around the car and this korea dude comes out of his house and ays are u looking for the church? i talk to him and learn that they hold service at the church that i passed like .75 miles ago. Freak'n. So he just gives me a ride back.

Well the service pretty much sucked cus i don't know korean and the youth thing is like a really small bible study thingy. I liked the people i met they were thrilled to have a young strapping man come into the church since there were a lot of elderly and younger kids and some high school. I think there was like 3 other girls in their 20s there and then me so you could imagine how much i stood out even though i was korean.

I actually think i stood out more in the korean church then being the only asian person in the white church.

Anyways i finally got a hold of some good korean karae and kim chi.. yes... so good : ) and just got to see my fellow comrades.

I think im just going to the american church in the same buiding in the earlier service and maybe if i feel like it just stay after so i can get some korean food for the korean service. I don't see myself being fed by the word to well in the korean place but i would like the fellowship and free food baby... yea so good.
